Kay, well here's some info about me:
- Im about 5 foot 1.
- i have brown hair that's about 5-7 inches below my shoulder. [i usually have it straight (my hair is naturally curly/wavy) so i was wondering wht hair style i should also have with the dress)
- idk if this helps but i have side bangs...
- im fairly tanned, but still on the lighter side.
- in terms of weight im not skinny but not medium either. just a little bit skinner than medium weight.
- i dont care what colour
- perferably a dress that is knee length or a bit higher.
- in terms of the 'upper' area, im about 30-32 inches. (if that helps)
*so yea.. hopefully that info will help you give me an answer. cuz i was thining about looking for dresses soon so i kinda want to know wht i should be looking for.*

If you have broad shoulders don't get a halterneck dress or one without straps get one with little straps and it should like poof out at the bottom. That would look awesome.

i graduated from high school in a short (mid-thigh) black halter dress with a ruffled skirt part. my shoes were black sparkly heels from target. but i was wearing a cap/gown deal so the dress was irrelevant until dinner.

K well by the sounds of things your petite, not being from americ i dont know what age a grade eight is but you cant go wrong with a cute minidress just above the knees but make it a classic colour not thrashy

About knee length I would say.

hmmm try a light colored dres with a dark pattern that pops thin straps and you may want to go with a dress with a slightly poufy bottom. a short heel for a shoe and wave you hair with a matching colored headband. if i had a picture it would help but i understand why you wouldn't want it on the internet. my best advice take a trusted friend parent/gaurdian/family member etc. and go shopping try things on and have fun with it. i may be toattaly wrong!:)
