Micro Braids on caucasian?

I have long naturally thick %26amp; wavy hair. I am thinking about getting micro braids... I have a few concerns though.

1.) How long do they normally stay in non-african hair?

2.) What is the average price for a professional?

3.) I don't want to look like I'm trying to be someone I'm not... do micro braids look alright on white girls? My style is kind of casual... I have medium-brown hair and an italian skin color... not pale, but not quite tan.

1) I have some friends that are caucasian and their micro braids usually stay on until they take them off.

2) I'm not sure but I don't think they cost very much...try looking it up in the phone book...

3) It depends, some hair styles look good on certain people and some don't....it looks alright on the girls i know. there's no law saying white girls can't have micro braids so if you like how they look don't pay attention to what anyone else thinks. A lot of white,hispanic and black girls at my school have micro braids.

I believe microbriads on a Caucasian is just fine. I don't know how long they will stay. A professional microbraids are $60 -$80
