Just got choppy layersss. STYLE QUESTION??

okay so i have about medium hair a few inches below my shoulder. i just got a bunch of short and choppy layers yetserday..towards to top and i cannot decide which of these i should do..

1. back comb it..if you don't know what that it it is like what "scene" girls would do.

2. or just putting wax in it..to try to like make it look textured?

you could back comb it or you could flip all of your ends out and then put a little wax to hold them in place

I would braid the long parts and texturize the layers. Just don't look scene. It's gross and overdone.
