How do I get this hairstyle???

Hi! Do you think that my naturally wavy/curly, very thick hair will be able to acheive the hairstyle below? My hair tends to fall flat, limp, and lifless.I realy want a style to make my hair look uber sleek and stylish. My hair is a medium brown, and I will be gatting hightlights and lowlights to add deminsion. If you dont think it will work can you give me links to other styles, and how to style them. I have an oval face, deep brown eyes, a light tan, and my hair is about an inch and a half below my shoulders! Can you give me tips on how to achieve these styles? THANX SOOO MUCH%26lt;3%26lt;3%26lt;3

if you get your hair thinned down, you can use a curling iron (one-inch barrels work for almost all hair lengths) and wrap sections of your hair around the barrel from top to bottom.

simple, curling iron.

And if you want looser or tighter curls, get a curling iron that has different barrel sizes. Or just get curlers.

I'm not sure if this can hold, it also takes quite a long time, but it's an alternative to the curling iron.

1. Shampoo and condition hair as normal. Pat dry with a towel, so it's damp.

2. Rub in something to hold your hair. Perhaps a bit of gel, comb through with a wide toothed comb.

3. Tie two [or more, depending on hair thickness] buns near the nape of your neck.

4. Leave it in for a couple of hours. When you take out the buns, your hair should be quite curly. Spray if with holding spray, and you're good to go. [:

I think you can also do this with braids.

wow, i have the EXACT same problem!! :) and i've always wanted curls!

soo, what i do, are the following!

1. curling iron -- i have conair and it's really good. gather about a 11/2 - 2 inch section of hair and start curling it from the bottom to the top. use some hairspray [ fave? from redken.. no smell and works well! ]. After a couple times of using a curling iron, you'll get the hang of it!

2. this is the much easier way that i prefer to use and works like a charm! after your shower [provided that it's night time] , put your hair up in about 3-4 small buns. though it might be a little bit uncomfortable to sleep on, that's what you do! ;) when you wake up, spray a little bit of hairspray on your buns [ optional ] and then take out your hair! it might look a little bit crazy, but you can use a blow drier to loosen up your hair and make em look like beautiful beach waves!! :) it works well - at least for me, and hopefully you!! :D

good luck + hope i helped!!!

:) :)
