I am going to the salon tomorow to get highlights. I have no idea what to have my stylist cut it like. Any ideas?

ps-i have medium length hair (2 inches above shoulder), so no long styles!

Relax. This is easy.

Just grab a few mags, and rip out a few pics of modles wearing your favorite styles.

Show ur friends and family the pages, and have them vote on your faves as well.

Bring the winning picture to the stylist, and walla, you get your dream cut!

Don't forget to speak up and be interactive with your stylist, to make sure everything turns out just they way you want!

Hope this Helps!

If your hair is curly or frizzy DO NOT let your stylist use a razor to cut your hair. Long layers look great on anybody. Check out some of the new bobs. I added a slight fringe to mine and it looks great against suttle or chunky highlights.

Hmmm get to the salon a little early so you have time to look through all the hair style books, and while you're at it look around at all the different hair styles that the stylist's are sporting, thats what I usually do and I am always very please with how my hair comes out :) Plus if you tell your stylist that you dont know what to do with your hair, then they might have a couple cool ideas, (just make sure they explain their idea to you before the scissors touch your hair ;)
