What are some good haircuts??

Okay I have medium-long hair and do NOT want short hair. I have a round head, my hair color is red, and IF i do have bangs I want them long and off to the side. Any haircut suggestions?? Sorry, no pic.

Oh, and something about me since they can contribute to hair. I ride horses and like to play volley-ball. I am a very smart person, get straight A's, and I love to write books and poetry. I do not want to spend a long time doing my hair, and I want it to look good in a ponytail.

but cut layers in it

(the layers must be medium long so that they can still fit into a hair tie)
