Achievement Night/Graduation for Grade nine makeup. Any suggestions?

I have medium brown hair, am fairly pale with freckles, and a little bit of an acne problem. My dress is a black halter with a red ribbon empire waist. I like all different kinds of makeup styles.

Choose to either play up your eyes or your lips- what's your best feature. I'm also graduating from ninth grade. I've always loved to have fun with makeup, but I find that girls really do look best when they go for a soft natural look. It makes them look fresh. Dramatic doesn't always make you look more mature. For eyes a light lavender is really pretty with blue eyes. For green eyes a light green or brown is nice. Brown eyes are good with browns and soft pinks. Shimmer eye shadows are always fun. Since you are fairly pale a soft pink or peach blush is great. Don't use a bronzer too make you look more tan- it just makes you look dirty and fake- some of the prettiest celebrities are really pale- i.e. Reese Witherspoon, Alexis Bledel, Keira Knightley, etc. Brown Mascara is much prettier than black. Lips should be light pink or peach for a softer look, but if you decide to have your lips be the main feature go with a bright red or mulberry. Have fun! I hope I've helped.

you're only in ninth grade so don't go overboard. i would recommend some kind of sparkle eyeshadow, very defined eyeliner, and some red lipstick to match the ribbon. Use concealer and matching base to cover your acne.

Foundation, use a light bronzer to brush over your cheekbones, clear lip gloss, black eyeliner, silver and cream eyeshadow, and black mascara
