Her hair is short/medium length and she has about 5-6 layers in it! But she tries to style all her hair layers to go in the same exact direction when she blows it out with the dryer and she gets really nervous when her layers "don't meet" or "flip out." Does she have a problem?

a problem as in OCD? maybe. i have medium length hair with layers, it's parted on the right and i still have a lot of layers. but it does NOT look good all swooshing in one direction; when you blow dry it right it should look like it does when you brush your hand through it (you know the pieces are still separated). that's weird... maybe she needs to grow it out because short/medium hair can be tricky to style and long hair looks ok when it all swooshes in the right direction.
