Eyebrow... i'm a freshman..?

I'm going to be a freshman in high school on the 23rd... I want to tweeze my eye brows... how do I go about doing this... i have special eye brow tweezers... Idk about any styles either... any help wud be greatly appreciated...

If this matters... I wear tight jeans, and a t-shirt or tank top... i just dress casually, and people call me "cute" apposed to hot, sexy, goth, emo, punk... but i am sometimes called hot and pretty too... i'm just kinda casual... don't wear heavy make-up... just natual looking... medium-brown hair...

keep your shape, and just pluck the excess hairs. clean them out, in other words.

or go and get them waxed, and then after that, pluck them yourself when the hairs start growing back. that's what I do.

ok take some normal dime store tweezers and then tweeze ur eyebrows... its not that hard...

if you want to be normal or casual just 'pluck' stray hairs that grow farther from your natural brow

wax, don't tweeze. If you don't know how to tweeze, you wouldn't want to mess them up for school. Wax professionally because it doesn't cost much. Do it a week or even longer. ASK A PROFESSIONAL ON HOW MUCH TIME IN ADVANCE YOU SHOULD WAX BEFORE SCHOOL. before school starts just in case of any reaction.

*A good thing about waxing is that your hair doesn't grow back as fast. At the professional place you go to, they do a bit of tweezing as well.

It might be a little painful but it's worth it.

you should get detailed eyebrows! go to the salon instead of doing them your self! don't forget to brush them everyday!

get them waxed!! they will look better and will last longer than plucking... especially if this is your first time!! go to a shop where they do it, it is less than $15. look at some magazines...like cosmo for some ideas and tell them that is what you want.

- the high arched thin brows r out and thick shaped ones r in

- get sally hansen's brow shaper sticker and use it as a guide line.

- stick it to the upper part of ur brow, where there's extra hair and lower part of the brow. what will b left behind will b ur shaped brows. remove extra strands with ur tweezer

If i were you i would stay away from tweezers because you could do A LOT of damage and end up looking like a mona lisa before school starts. "Special tweezers" dont help if you dont know what u are doing..lol Wax isnt that great either because it can cause irritation due to "peeling" off layers of skin. My suggestion would be to get your eyebrows threaded, much less painful than waxing and irritation is less (and it lasts longer) as well. If u go get ur eyebrows threaded put cream on them before and after you go NO ALCOHOL becuz it will burn like heck.... since it's your first time u could get irritated no matter what..but here is what u should do if your skin gets too bumpy, red, itchy, and hot; put a potato in the fridge til its fairly cool cut thin slices (round) and place over affected area whenever the slices start to get hot replace them with new slices... old remedy works great.. good luck.

ok, its not hard at all but don't go all crazy when you pluck your eyebrows.. haha... i mean it looks bad when people dont have hardly any eyebrows try a natural shape with a little arch. if i knew how to put a pic on here for you i would, but i have no clue..lol. So, go to www.google.com and hit images at the top and search "eyebrows" If you get the same thing I did look at the second pic. ( the one from www.karentaylorskincare.com) Anyway, just try a natural look, you dont want bushes growing on your face but you really dont want barely any eyebrows that look very unnatural. so when you start plucking just pluck the ones way off, that are stray (you have a natural shape so just pluck along that). Pull the same way the hair grows and it shouldnt hurt as bad. Well I dont think it hurts at all but thats just me.

You can get them waxed at a salon, which might be easier if you dont want to pluck them. Just tell the stylist a NATURAL arch not something thin. And they should get just what you want. The only thing about waxing is your eyebrow are red for a couple of hours but nothing bad. put some ice or something on them and they will go down faster (but i dont even put ice on mine, they will go down on their own). Waxing doesnt hurt either.

Dont try to buy a waxing kit and do it yourself b/c one of my friends tried that and accidently waxed one of her eyebrows off.... so yeah dont try that.
